On Sunday 16 July 2006, Pete Brunelli of DOOT! insisted that I interview him, his partner Steve Chillemi, and special guest Andre Cholmondeley, shortly after their set at Zappanale #17. They led me and my good buddy, Canadian John Campbell from England, to the top of the hill backstage and Pete recorded our conversation. The next day he presented it to me on CD and told me to do what I liked with it. Consequently, a small part of it appeared on the official festival CDs that John and I compiled (as the track 'Dootrap'). I then decided the quickest way to transcribe it would be to let a piece of speech recognition software do it for me, but the results turned out kinda Burroughsesque (see sample below).
